Hashtag was first use in year 2007 on Twitter. Since then it has become very popular on all online social networks like Instagram, facebook, twitter, Youtube & google plus etc. . 

Now let's see what the hashtag is ? How, where & what for it can be used ?

Many of us are unaware of how to use it. We  just see it somewhere & try to copy it. 

1.What is Hashtag ?

# - This is hash 

& Tag is word, keyword, phrase, short form, number's, alphabets which we write after it. 

Examples : #ipl20 ,  #Royalwedding , #wedding , #marriagephotos, #navratri , #happydussehra, #welovenagpur , #happydiwali etc.

 

These Hashtag signifies the theme of your content, current topic which you have posted. 

Hashtag brings together the people with common liking, interest and topics. 

When we write a Hashtag on online social networks it becomes blue. That means it becomes a link or hyperlink.

When we click on it or when we write such hashtag in search bar we will get to see all people's post who have use same hashtag. Even the search result will provide you the exact number (count) of people who have use the same hashtag.

Well, we all are using gmail for our day to day official communications. Earlier in gmail we use to have only one inbox where we use to receive all our incoming emails. But at that time mostly we use to receive emails from known people.
Slowly we started getting unwanted emails as well. Then at one point we all experience that we are getting almost all unwanted emails only on daily basis instead of important official one.
This was all ridiculous. We were facing tough time to find out our one important email.
Then comes the update from gmail. Gmail started sorting our emails under five different tabs.
